Here comes Vigdis from Knarvik - she is teacher in Eikangervaag - and drives her Micra to school every morning - and she never beats the pupils...

Vigdis is grown up in Telavaag in Sund municipality, Sotra, west of Bergen. Telavaag was completely destroyed during the 2.nd World War, by the germans, and all the men between 16 and 60 years of age was sent to consentration camps in Germany, where many of them died. Women and children was internated at Framnes Folkehogskule in Hardanger until the war ended.
There is a new museum in Telavaag where one can obtain more information about this horrible story.
